Many of you will know of the lovely Frankie our parent reared chick of summer 2025, and her sister Derek our first ever flamingo chick who was hand reared by Keeper Becky back in 2019 (yes Derek turned out to be a girl! We currently have a flock of 9 Caribbean flamingos.

Coming soon is a new all-weather garden room for the Paradise Park flamingo flock.

This 20ft x 10ft room will be perfect for winter shelter, and if we need to keep the birds inside
as a precaution against bird flu.

It will be similar to the photo and larger than their previous indoor area which was off-show to visitors. You will see that we have already started on the base and plumbing for the internal pond.
