Mealworms for the birds

Its not just the animals that the Keepers care for here at Paradise Park but also their food, including these mealworms to ensure they are healthy.

Mealworms are a key source of food for many of the birds.

Once the mealworms are purchased, a keeper then cleans, and refreshes the bran, sliced apple, banana peel and calcium paste everyday for up to 35 boxes... that's a lot of mealworms!
